  • Cushioned Seat
  • Backrest
  • Stool Cylinder
  • 5 Legs with pin inserts

Assembly

  1. Remove contents and packaging.
  2. Attach legs by removing the pin inserts, aligning legs on cylinder base, and reinserting pin from top.
  3. Thread cushioned seat onto top of cylinder.
  4. Unfold backrest by loosening the knobs, aligning to the upright position, and retightening.
  5. Insert backrest support into clamp beneath seat and tighten the knob. Adjust the distance from the seat as desired.

Cylinder Adjustment

Your stool's cylinder has been pre-adjusted. If you find the stool is dropping too easily or not easily enough, follow the steps below to adjust. You will need a 1/4" driver, a 3/8" socket (1/4" drive), and a flathead screwdriver.

  1. Remove the stool backrest and turn stool upside down.
  2. Loosen the nut (a few turns) at the center of the cylinder base.
  3. If the stool is dropping too easily, turn the screw a one and a half turn counterclockwise (clockwise if it is not dropping easily enough).
  4. Set stool upright and test. Repeat until properly adjusted.
  5. Snug the adjustment bolt.

For a typical adjustment starting point: Turn the screw clockwise until the cylinder just begins to extend. (Exercise caution, if you turn too quickly, the cylinder will extend rapidly.) From there, turn the screw back (counterclockwise) a half turn and check adjustment.
